Description

A cartridge for swimming pool cartridge filter is used to filter swimming pool water by retaining impurities such as debris, leaves and insects. It is placed in a cartridge filter housing which is connected to the swimming pool's water circulation system.

As pool water circulates through the cartridge, impurities are trapped by the cartridge's filter material, allowing clean water to return to the pool. The cartridge, made of non-woven fiber, guarantees a much higher filtration fineness (25 microns) than that of sand filters.

Over time, the cartridge can become clogged with accumulated debris and characterized by an increase in pressure readable on the filter gauge, reducing filtration efficiency. In this case, the cartridge must be cleaned with clean water or replaced to maintain effective filtration.
